"A New Vision" is our first major Fallout2 mod. Also worth noting is that with FAME you can run the patch AND as many mods as you like (although obviously two cars isn't going to work). If you have the brilliant FAME program installed, all you need to do is extract the zip file (paintjob.zip) into its /patch subdirectory. Once that's done, you're ready to try the mod - just run Fallout 2 in the normal way. You should now have two new DAT files (rusty car.dat and black car.dat), and you'll need to rename one of them to patch000.dat. Then extract the zip file you've downloaded (paintjob.zip) into the main Fallout 2 directory. Once you have found it, rename it to something like realpatch.dat. This is the important file that makes the newer patched version of Fallout 2 run - so it would be nicer if you didn't lose it. Method One: Before doing anything, look in you main Fallout 2 directory for a file name patch000.dat. To install it, use one of the following methods (provided by Duck and Cover): This mod replaces your Highwayman with either a black one or a rusty beaten up one.
